Bringing Dental Care to Your Doorstep

Meet Lindsey Vizcay, the dedicated founder of Home Sweet Hygiene, a mobile dental hygiene practice dedicated to bringing personalized dental care to your doorstep. With over 20 years of experience in the dental field, Lindsey's journey is marked by a wealth of expertise and a passion for oral health.

A Family Tradition:

Raised in a family where dentistry was not just a profession but a way of life, Lindsey’s grandfather and father were both esteemed dentists. Surrounded by the principles of compassionate care and a commitment to oral health, Lindsey's goal is to extend this family legacy by bringing dental care directly to those who need it the most.

Education and Expertise: With a Bachelor of Science in Business and Communications from Saint Mary's College and a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from West Coast University, Lindsey combines her business knowledge with a passion for dental wellness. In 2015, Lindsey expanded her capabilities by acquiring an RDAEF2 license, demonstrating her commitment to advancing her skills. Realizing the crucial importance of access to care, Lindsey pursued her RDHAP license at the University of the Pacific, allowing her to break down barriers and provide specialized services directly to individuals in need.

Access to Care for Everyone:
Lindsey's vision is clear – to provide access to dental care for anyone, especially those unable to visit a traditional office setting. Home Sweet Hygiene is a testament to her commitment to breaking down barriers and ensuring that every individual, regardless of their circumstances, receives the quality dental care they deserve.

Every Patient Matters:
Central to Lindsey's philosophy is the belief that every patient matters. It's not just about dental care; it's about ensuring that each person knows their importance and receives personalized attention that goes beyond the clinical setting.

Bringing Comfort Home:
Lindsey's goal is to bring dental care to the comfort of your home. Home Sweet Hygiene is not just a service; it's an experience tailored to your needs, delivered with expertise, compassion, and the convenience of home. Serving the communities of Solano, Napa, Yolo, and Contra Costa counties, Lindsey brings dental care directly to your doorstep.

Understanding the Connection: Oral Health and Overall Well-Being

At Home Sweet Hygiene, we believe in the profound connection between your oral health and your overall well-being. Here's why your oral health is integral to your overall health:

Gateway to Systemic Health

Your mouth is the entry point to your digestive and respiratory systems.
Problems in your mouth can potentially impact other parts of your body.

Diabetes Self Management Program

Diabetes Connection

Individuals with diabetes are more prone to gum disease, and conversely, untreated gum disease can make it harder to control blood sugar levels.

Heart Health

Some studies suggest a correlation between gum disease and an
increased risk of heart disease. While the exact connection is still being
researched, maintaining good oral health is considered beneficial for heart health.

Smile Check

Bacterial Balance

Your mouth naturally contains bacteria. While most are harmless,
maintaining good oral hygiene helps control harmful bacteria that can lead
to infections and inflammation.
